Summit STEM Mission
The Summit STEM Fellowship (SSF) is a culmination of the guidance and resources our team of 50+ mentors wish we had during our own high school years. Drawing from personal experiences and lessons from mentoring thousands of students, we designed the fellowship to equip students with the skills, mindsets, and opportunities they need to thrive in high school, college, and beyond.
Through the fellowship, students have the opportunity to:
Connect with accomplished mentors at the forefront of STEM. Mentors serve as role models to inspire students and showcase what they can achieve in the next five to ten years. Students learn from recent college graduates and undergraduates who provide the most relevant and practical advice they can apply to their high school careers.
Discover their passions and learn how to excel in any field. Through exposure to a wide range of STEM disciplines, students explore their interests and uncover their passions. Students are equipped with the resources and guidance to excel in whichever fields they choose to pursue.
Explore careers in STEM and the reality of pursuing different paths. From understanding the realities of attending medical school to exploring opportunities in technology and entrepreneurship, students gain firsthand insights into various career paths to make informed decisions about their future aspirations.
Learn how to excel not just in STEM, but also as a leader in their community. Students are inspired to drive change and embrace leadership opportunities to create lasting impact. Students learn to innovate, solve real-world problems, and create impact through STEM.
Develop life skills for high school, college, and beyond. Students build fundamental habits such as time management and effective communication, equipping them to excel in any challenge or opportunity they encounter while forming a foundation for lifelong growth and success.
