The fellowship was one of the best summer experiences that I've ever had! What drew me to this fellowship was the idea of a supportive space where students from all over the world interested in STEM could explore their passions and learn about opportunities to make a difference. By attending the various Fireside Chats by incredible mentors in STEM, I gained much knowledge about potential fields of STEM that I could explore as well as the steps that I can take to achieve my goals, and during the Fellowship, I had many opportunities to network with other students who share my interests and goals. Thanks to my time in the fellowship, I received much guidance on how to start projects that I had been interested in for a long time. Overall, I would say that the fellowship was a transformative and impactful experience for me, one that I know will stick with me throughout my years in high school, college, career, and beyond. I would definitely recommend it to other students who are passionate about STEM and are looking for ways to pursue their interests!

Participating in the fellowship was a transformative experience for me. Getting to meet, talk to, and play games or participate in the events was definitely one of my favorite parts of the program. The fellowship is an amazing opportunity for high school students interested in STEM. Not only are you given the chance to learn and be advised by various and unique mentors, you also get the privilege to meet new people, students from across the world that you can share ideas but also have fun interactions that can lead to long time friendships. My personal experience with the program was amazing. I went into this program hoping to learn a lot about what it is like in the medical field or being a med student and I got just that and so much more. I found myself also very interested in all the other aspects of STEM. All the mentors had amazing experiences and stories and it was so great to hear all of them and see how enthusiastic they were with what they do. The fellowship really sparked my interest in STEM further than it already was, with the countless mentorship, the fun activities, and the many new friends, this program was altogether super inspiring, motivating, fun, engaging, and so much more. This experience has greatly changed my perspective of STEM and pushed me to work hard towards my dreams. I couldn't be more thankful to have been one of the students to get the privilege to be part of the program and I will cherish all that I have learned from it and use it to reach my goals and dreams for the future.

Despite the fellowship ending months ago, the advice and mentoring I received have stuck with me ever since. I was definitely very shy and intimidated at first, but everyone was so welcoming and friendly that it wasn’t hard for me to warm up to this very new experience. I especially appreciated the personal feedback they gave for the weekly deliverables–I found them super helpful and it gave me that final push out of my comfort zone!! Beyond that, you get to talk to other fellows and mentors, and it’s a great way to seek specific advice and make friends <3 As someone who was really burnt out from the end of the school year, the fellowship gave way for me to recover and gradually reignite my fire. What I loved about the fellowship was how each mentor truly took the time to support our ideas. I thought it was a terrific program for my daughter. She is the eldest so we are in the dark about how to prep her fully for college, so it was helpful for her to learn more as well as spend part of her summer learning. We were in Europe at the time but she would happily stay up until 2 am to watch the weekday zooms live! The program was incredibly inspirational, especially the Ideathons, which challenged us to think on our feet and encouraged proactive planning. Exceptionally well-organized, the program offered something new and different every day, keeping the experience exciting. The mentors, who come from a broad range of specialties, blew my mind—successful young adults living the careers I aspire to. They addressed all my curious questions about career paths, what I should do now, and navigating high school. What sets this program apart from others is its interactive nature during the sessions, along with helpful to-do follow-ups afterward. Going into the fellowship, I wasn't sure what to expect. But after the program started, I had a lot of fun. All the presentations and panels we saw were incredibly insightful and applicable in real life. I learned things about STEM I never knew before, and the fellowship allowed me to develop my interests alongside other students who, like me, are interested in STEM. I got the opportunity to interact with many new people, and the speakers were genuinely some of the coolest and most accomplished people I have ever seen. The fellowship makes meeting mentors easy, and so many different resources are readily available throughout the program. I learned a lot about myself and my interests during the fellowship. I was also able to foster new interests. For example, through one of the weekend ideathons, I learned that I really enjoy website design.
